Mirijam Verena Jeremic grew up in Belgrade with her German-Yugoslavian family and completed her acting training for the performing arts from 1991 to 1994 at the Dah Teater International in Belgrade. After her acting training, she returned to Berlin and studied there at the University of the Arts until she became a master student in 2001.
Workshops in English followed, among others with Giles Foreman, Paul Miller (Drama Center London) and Seamus McNally at the (Cavale Studio) in New York.
Mirijam caused a sensation with the role of Jasmina Lauschevic in the WDR series "Endlich Deutsch", a mockumentary directed by Lutz Heineking Jr. ,which was nominated in 2015 for Grimme Prize.
There are also appearances in German film and television productions, such as: The Heretic Bride, Tsokos Zerschunden, Other Parents, The Sportpenner, For Umme, Stand Up, Let Go and many others.
