Damion Rush is an compelling actor from Dallas/Ft.Worth who began his acting journey in a Non Profit Coalition of Life in 2005 entertaining the community about at risk behaviors and unsafe practices.
In 2008 he decided audition for a stage play and that's where be became engulfed with love of performance. In 2009, He played Amanasro in Elton Johns Tim Rice AIDA at Plaza Theatre Co in which 10 years later in the 2019 production at Plaza Theatre Co he received Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Equity) by The Collumn Awards by John Garcia. In 2010 he had his first experience in film with the student film/music video "Dear Mama". He later received many accolades for his performance in 2010 at Carnegie Players for his role as Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird. He later went on to deliver numerous exceptional performances in theatre throughout DFW.
After Pandemic, Damion decided he wanted to expand his portfolio and display his talent in the fast growing DFW film industry. His current project includes Guilty Pleasures, and in the past has played supporting roles in "Lyrics(Flames)", AUTO, The Creep, and Blood For Blood.
Damion is open to filming in markets in other cities and using his unique skills to bring each critters vision to life.
