Following Season 2's 15th episode broadcast, the official accounts for Shangri-La Frontier unveiled a brand-new trailer and key visual for the next anime arc, titled "Miageta Sora, Hirogaru Umi, Shinen no Toshi wo Kakete", otherwise known as the Abyss City arc, in which Sunraku will challenge another of the Seven Colossi. Starting with episode five, the anime adaptation of Blue Miburo will enter the Aizu Clan Arc. Five new characters will be joining the cast as the story moves forward. These are the new cast members. The official website of Dragon Ball announced on Oct 19, 2024, that the voice actors of all the characters that’ve turned mini in episode 2 of Dragon Ball Daima, including Vegeta, Bulma, and Piccolo, have been recast.

However, it was also revealed that Masako Nozawa will continue to voice Goku in the anime.

A total of 12 voice actors have been unveiled, with many of them expressing their enthusiasm for joining the franchise.
