Vinny Balbo

Originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, Vinny Balbo grew up surrounded by multimedia art and design, and developed a passion for creativity that has not lost any momentum to this day. Vinny began training his craft by acting with several local studios specializing in improv and musical theater as early as age 10. Throughout his teenage years, Vinny performed in several local musicals and plays, discovering his passion for dance.

Vinny attended Perpich Center for Arts Education, where he was classically trained in Contemporary Dance & Ballet. Vinny further pursued his formal education, studying acting and dance at the California Institute of the Arts before leaving the school and moving to Los Angeles to begin his career. His extensive dance background and movement training enables him to take on transformative roles, as seen in Under Refurbishment and American Horror Story.
