Marina Esteve

  • Actress
IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Marina Esteve was born in Vilobí del Penedés (Barcelona). She studied at Estudio Juan Codina in Madrid. Marina worked at a restaurant in Barcelona where she was spotted by Italian film director Angelo Orlando. Orlando mentioned that he was in pre-production for his new movie "Rocco Tiene tu Nombre," an Italian/Catalan co-production, and had been casting many actresses, but none seemed to fit the bill. After this encounter, he sent her the script, she auditioned, and finally made the movie. After completing the film, she decided to move to Madrid to begin studying acting at the age of 27.

Since her debut, she has appeared in films such as "¡Quemad Barcelona!" by David Victori, "Compulsión" by Ángel L. González, "Seguimi" by Claudio Sesteri, and "Libélulas" by Luc Knowles. She has also starred in the short films "Centrifugado" by Mireia Noguera and "Imago" by Marta Parreño. On television, she has appeared in the series "La riera" on TV3, "Félix" on Movistar +, "La casa de papel" on Netflix, and the productions "Toy Boy", "Mar de plástico" and "Los hombres de Paco" on Antena 3. She has also worked in theater productions such as "Brechtnow" directed by Luis Luque, "Lavar al río" by Nuria Román, "Alicia" by Juan Codina, "Stabat Mater (It's Ok Ma!)" by Moreno Bernardi, "Filoctetes" by Antonio Simón and "#AboutLastNight" by Olivia Delcan.
