Lauren Elyse Buckley is a pint-sized ball of energy hailing from the land of deep dish pizza and John Hughes movies. She grew up doing theatre in Chicago and moved to LA to study theatre and screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University.
She is best known for her recurring role of Girsten in all four seasons of Dreamworks' AwesomenessTV comedy series "Foursome", her leading role in the thriller "Blame", and the award-winning mockumentary comedy series "Jenifer and Chicken" which she produced and starred in.
Lauren also produced and acted in the comedy series "Barden and Sarah Start a Pandemic", which took home the Audience Award during its world premiere at the 2024 Seriesfest.
Lauren's recent acting credits include CBS's "CSI: Vegas", NBC's "Magnum P.I.", "Stranded 3" working opposite Terry Crews, a dark comedy short produced by Amy Poehler's Paper Kite, a brilliant comedy from Wondaland, and a powerful Holocaust drama working opposite the Tony and Emmy nominated Tovah Feldshuh.
Nominated for best acting duo for her role of Faye in the film "The Chair That Killed Faye" and making the rounds in the festival circuit with multiple films, Lauren Elyse Buckley is steadily growing her base in the indie film world. From Sister Fiona in Stephen King's "In the Deathroom" to her portrayal of real-life feminist icon Jackie Mitchell in "Throw Like A Girl," she is bringing a wide range of characters to the screen.
