Jorge Thomson

Jorge Thomson is a queer comedy writer and performer with Cuban, Puerto Rican, and New Mexican roots. He disappointed his two lawyer parents by going to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts to study acting. Jorge was most recently a Staff Writer on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place (Disney+). As a performer, he's appeared on Modern Family (ABC), Uncoupled (Netflix), and Twisted Metal (Peacock), where he also co-wrote the premiere episode for the upcoming second season (please watch on July 31st!). He is an alumni of the 2020 National Hispanic Media Coalition Writing Program, the 2022 STARZ #TakeTheLead Writers Intensive, and the 2024 Disney Writing Program, finally proving he was right to pocket his law school tuition.
