Biography

Dixie Light was born and raised in Colombia, South America. When she was nine years old, her family moved to her father's hometown of Whiteville, NC. It was in this small town that she was inspired by her sister's dance recitals to take up dancing. She had her first big break working as a principal dancer on "Radioland Murders" followed by another Lucasfilm project, "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles". Shortly thereafter, she was hired as a dancer on cruise ships and she traveled the world performing. Upon her return she decided to pursue a performing arts degree at Northwest Florida State College. Under the direction of Armand Coutu, her passion for acting grew even stronger. She has spent the last 20 years working in Atlanta on various commercials, independent films and TV.
