Daniel Reader BIO : 2025 (QLD Based) Daniels latest credits are playing the role of Booker in an Australian Feature film, "Patched" cast number 2 beside Gary Sweet. He appears as an American bodybuilder on the Netflix series "Son Of A Donkey" (Superwog Series). He was also recently worked as "Arthur in Joe Vs. Carole" (UCP, Peacock) . Prior he played Ryan in the Crime Drama "Spiderhead" (Producer Chris Hemsworth) working closely also with not only Chris, but also Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett. He has had credited roles in Young Rock, Neighbours and Playing for Keeps to name a few. Daniel has been in the game for close to 17 years. He is a tall bodybuilder and also a combat/tactical instructor to actors.
His experience is vast and wide. At 197cm tall and around 118kg (LEAN), Daniel's presence rarely goes un-noticed. He has an intimidating stature, but when you meet him, you realize he is a sensitive alpha male.
Daniel, a divorced father of 3, was born in Greensborough, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He grew up in Bendigo, Victoria where they built a mud brick house in Strathfieldsaye. After he completed all of his primary school, he moved on to complete all of his high school years at Catholic College Bendigo, graduating in the class of '98. Daniel then went straight into the Army Reserves and was soon a Private in the 15th transport squadron in Bendigo.
Daniel has served in the military, he is a licensed bodyguard and Emergency Response Team Member. He uses these skills, not only on set, but also at Screen Queensland Studios, where he is a Combat / Tactical Instructor, in a high end Film Combat Safety Course.
In QLD as well as working as an actor, He also works as an Armed Guard driving armored vehicles, and is an Auxiliary Firefighter On the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia.
