Chesapeake Shores will come to a close for good later this year.

Hallmark on Friday morning announced that the sixth and final season will get underway Sunday, August 14.

The final season was announced by Hallmark earlier this year.

“With a top-notch ensemble cast and creative team, Chesapeake Shores has shared stories that are relatable, poignant, and unforgettable,” said Laurie Ferneau, SVP Programming, Series.

“We look forward to honoring the journey viewers have been on with the O’Briens with one final, special season.”

Series stars Robert Buckley, Meghan Ory, Golden Globe® nominee Treat Williams, Barbara Niven, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis are all set to return.

Chesapeake Shores is based on the New York Times bestselling series of books by Sherryl Woods.

The series said goodbye to its leading man in Jesse Metcalfe last season, but it introduced the dashing Robert Buckley in his place.

Hallmark Channel will return to Chesapeake Shores this summer.

The network has announced that the sixth and final season of the O’Brien family saga will premiere Sunday, Aug. 14. (As previously reported, the series’ farewell run will consist of 10 episodes.)

It doesn’t take much effort to guess what’s on the menu in “Evil Feed”, an over the top cannibal gore comedy-martial arts hybrid directed by stuntman and stunt co-ordinator Kimani Ray Smith, known for his work on the likes of “Watchmen”, “X-Men”, and other Hollywood blockbusters. Crazy, sexy and bloody hell of a dinner movie! That’s how they already describe the whole thing, but I’m not so sure what to think about this. First of all, Evil Feed is some strange mix of horror, action & martial arts. Which sounds great, but man – I totally hate the rest of the story ’cause if you loose a fight in that underground ring – they will simply serve you in the Chinese restaurant! Wtf?

Well, don’t ask me, Kimani Ray Smith is responsible for the whole thing. He directs the movie from a script he co-wrote with Aaron Au. Today we have some cool photos from this project to share with you, but they won’t fool me! I still think that the story is creepy enough to make me skip my dinner!

Summary:
