Julie landed the role of Detective Christina Bartlett in A Stranger in My Home (Deadly Love Nest) after contacting the real life Christina Bartlett who the character was based on prior to her audition to get the inside scoop on what was going on her mind when she was trying to solve the crime. She played crazy Monique in The End. She was cast in the series Un tueur si proche due to her uncanny resemblance to the late Lynne Masicotte, who was a victim of a once long-time unsolved crime in Quebec.
