Dan Allen at Blood and Honey 2 Premiere
Dan is an award-winning director, writer and editor from the UK, working in narrative fiction. He completed his debut feature film, "Unhinged" in 2017, which received international distribution via 88 Films and eOne entertainment. In 2018, his #3MinuteHorror series received acclaim, amassing over 2 million views online and was licensed by Crypt TV. Episode one, "The Mime", has since screened at Bafta and Oscar qualifying Leeds International Film Festival, Vortex, Rhode Island international Film Festival, among others.

After being fascinated with magic from an early age and having his mind blown by a 'Making of Jurassic Park' book, Dan started making experimental films with a LEGO webcam when he was 9 years old. Channeling his adolescent trauma, he wrote his first serious short film at the age of 14, whilst undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer. The film went on to win the 'Best Young Filmmaker' award at the Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film Festival in 2009, and he hasn't put down a camera since.
