Armand Fields is an actor and performer mostly known for their work on Showtime's dramedy series "Work in Progress" along with roles on "The Chi," and "The Thing About Harry." This summer, Armand will appear as a recurring guest in the reboot classic, "Queer as Folk," premiering on Peacock in 2022.

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Armand attended Classen School of Advanced Studies and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago while majoring in Fashion Design and conceptually-based performance Art Studies.

After leaving school for financial reasons, they furthered their acting skills and took classes at the historical Second City and was accepted into The Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 2010, instructed by some of their most notable ensemble members such as Amy Morton and K. Todd Freeman.

Armand's resume of work includes several non-equity and equity shows, such as the world premiere of Philip Dawkins' "Charm," Matthew Lopez' "The Legend of Georgia McBride" and Lanford Wilson's "Balm In Gilead." Armand moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and booked their first television role in TruTV's "You Can Do Better." Armand also reprised their role as "Jonelle" in the West Coast premiere of "Charm."

While pursuing acting, Armand consistently worked on their drag persona, Cleo Pockalipps within Chicago's drag community. Armand also has worked with their longtime friend, Lena Waithe, as a Program Coordinator for her Hillman Grad Mentorship Program, helping to create new infrastructures and guiding the selection process of new mentees each year.
