Roz Mihalko (the artist formerly known as Ross) is a queer, trans playwright and screenwriter who writes comedy and genre pieces, always with a mix of humor and heart. Her children's plays & musicals have been performed all around the world, and her adult LGBTQ+ rom-com musical TEXAS ANNIE: THE LEGEND OF THE MOAN RANGER won the Audience Choice Award at the 2022 Cincinnati Fringe Festival. As a screenwriter, Roz has been hired to write and develop numerous movies and tv series with production companies such as LIONSGATE, REEL ONE, and MPCA. Her holiday romance feature, A CHRISTMAS STAR, premiered in 2021 on AMAZON PRIME and The GAC FAMILY Network to rave reviews. These days, Roz is focusing primarily on writing for serialized television, where she can tell even more personal stories with even greater LGBTQ+ representation, Originally a stay-at-home dad from New England, Roz is now a proud mama bear living and writing full-time in sunny, funny Los Angeles, California with her family.
