Suresh Babu Theerthagiri is an Indian-born filmmaker, writer, and producer with a passion for storytelling that began in his early years. Born in Vellore, Tamil Nadu-a charming town in southern India-Suresh is the eldest of three siblings. His family moved frequently across Tamil Nadu due to his father's career as an accountant before eventually settling in Bangalore.
Suresh later moved to Australia to pursue higher studies in accounting. After gaining experience in various accounting roles, he decided to follow his true calling-filmmaking. In 2010, he took a bold step toward his dream by enrolling at the International Film School Sydney, where he honed his craft.
Over the years, Suresh has directed and produced several short films, showcasing his talent and dedication to the art of cinema. He currently resides in Sydney, Australia, where he balances his professional role at Transport for NSW with his creative ventures. Suresh is a proud father to two amazing boys, Sachin and Sanjay, who bring endless joy and inspiration to his life.
In addition to filmmaking, Suresh has expanded his storytelling through artificial intelligence-based YouTube channels, NewNWS and NewNWSTamil, engaging a diverse audience with compelling content.
