Anna Zaitseva(II)

Anna is a director and creator of one of the most popular and internationally awarded Russian teenage series, "No, You're Stupid!" (Russian title: "Sama Dura"). The show was created by Anna and was based on her original short film, which had over 36 million views on YouTube. The series has since developed into a three-season show that has become well-known among all the young audience in Russia. The series has won main prize "Best series" at the oldest German festival of Digital Series "Die Seriale" 2022 and "Best directing" at LAWEBFEST.

Anna Zaytseva is known for her films and series that focus on important social issues and female characters. Her works have received over 31 international awards, including six for Best Directing and eleven for Best Film or Series. In 2024, Anna won the Best Digital Series Award at the 31st Austin Film Festival, one of the most prestigious American festivals dedicated to honoring screenwriters for her series "Sasha counters!".

Her feature thriller-horror "#BLUE_WHALE" produced by Bazelevs company and Timur Bekmambetov has won nine international awards, it was world premiered at the Fantasia FF, was nominated for "Dark Matters" at the Austin FF in 2022, was nominated for "Free Spirit" section at the Warsaw International FF. The film had a wide international release in more than 20 countries, and had the best international box office performance among Russian films in the first quarter of 2024.

Anna Zaytseva graduated from film directing masters program at the oldest and most important European film school - Czech film academy FAMU in 2015.

Anna's TV series "Hero on call" that was produced for one of the main Russian channels NTV, participated in a competition of prestigious national festival "Pilot", it was streaming in prime Time and had a high TV viewing rating.
