Zura Menteshashvili was born on January 27, 1981 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a self-taught filmmaker with a decade long background in a commercial advertising. In 2008 he founded Menteshproduction, specializing in high-quality children's films and family entertainment with a strong focus on features for the big screen. In 2012 and 2014 Zura's films grossed the highest box office revenues in the history of Georgia.
