Jimmy Robbins was pastor of Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens, South Carolina for 40 years, and was a minister for a total of 55 years. He was a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Institute and also received an honorary doctorate from Tabernacle Baptist College. The Burning Hell, a Christian film sponsored by his colleague Dr. Estus Pirkle, was the only film in which he appeared.
