John Cena’s Divorce: Did He Really Cheat on His 1st Wife With WWE Superstars?
Image
John Cena’s recent heel turn has shocked the WWE Universe. It felt as if they were never ready to accept their favorite babyface as a heel. Very few characters in the history of WWE have been the good guys for such a long time. Cena possibly eclipsed all other babyface reigns, and eventually, in his farewell tour, he decided to bring out the most iconic twist of all time.

Delivering a low blow to Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber, John Cena joined forces with The Rock ahead of WrestleMania 41. Earlier, what was thought to be a straightforward battle of two of the greatest wrestlers for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 has now turned into an iconic storyline that may have already taken flight.

With every heel turn, if there is one particular element which gets dragged into the storyline, that is the personal life of a superstar.

What Are the Big 3 of Anime? 4 Reasons Why Dragon Ball Z Is Not a Part of It
Image
So, when we talk about anime, the term ‘Big 3 anime’ often comes into the discussion. Rather than being a sales or quality or industry thing, the “Big 3” is a cultural phenomenon. It refers to the three shonen series that completely dominated the spotlight and discussion, particularly during the early 2000s: One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. However, despite its legendary status, Dragon Ball Z is notably absent from this grouping.

Dragon Ball Z is not part of the Big 3, however its influence is undeniable. | Credit: Toei Animation

This may be surprising considering that Dragon Ball is among the most iconic anime franchises in history, inspiring countless series and shaping the shonen genre as we know it today. So why is Dragon Ball Z not considered part of the Big 3? Below are four key reasons why it does not fit into the Big 3 classification.

1. Timing and publication era of Dragon Ball Z...

“You’re not crazy, you’re just sadistic”: Weird Way Cm Punk’s Love Story With His Wife Aj Lee Started in WWE
Image
No one would expect a real-life love story to come out of WWE, a show about professional wrestling that had dramatic and unpredictable storylines. But somehow, a quirky, offbeat romance blossomed between Cm Punk and Aj Lee.

Cm Punk and Aj Lee | WWE / YouTube

They’re a couple whose story started not in a candlelit restaurant or a moonlit park but in the middle of a WWE ring. Their scripted encounters turned into a real-life bond that has lasted for years, so let’s look at how it all played out.

Cm Punk and Aj Lee’s on-screen spark in WWE Cm Punk, Aj Lee and Daniel Bryan | WWE / YouTube

WWE had many compelling plotlines, but the one between Cm Punk and Aj Lee was the best. They featured a love triangle that involved Daniel Bryan, but soon, the lines between fiction and reality began to blur. You can see...

Legendary Ultra Instinct: Dragon Ball Has 1 Way to Combine Broly’s Super Saiyan With Ui That Makes Him a Primal Cosmic Freak of Nature
Image
Broly is an enigmatic character who has been seen as the epitome of the Saiyan race. He is the Lssj (Legendary Super Saiyan) who was born once in a millennium. The character itself was created by Takao Koyama and designed by Toriyama himself.

Ultra Instinct Goku firing Kamehameha | Credits: Toei Animation

It took a long time for Broly to enter the franchise as a canon character, but his true potential has not been fully used. As can be seen from the Z fighters, be it Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, or Gohan, they have repeatedly proved that the Saiyan race is not as simple as it previously seemed.

The Saiyans might have been under the command of Frieza, but their endless growth potential deserved a much higher position. With Broly becoming canon, if he enters the scene, considering that Goku and Vegeta have reached Ultra forms through training (Goku reached SSJ4 in...

Akira Toriyama’s Wife and Children: Less Explored Family Life of Dragon Ball’s Godfather
Image
A year ago, the legendary mangaka Akira Toriyama passed away, leaving a huge void in the manga industry. The Dragon Ball creator has touched lives through his story and has revolutionized the shonen genre. But he is rather discreet about his personal life, especially his family.

And why should he not? Considering the public eye and media, the secrecy makes sense. However, it only means that the personal realm is rather less explored. And while that is the case, there are interesting stories behind it as well that tie up to his $27 billion franchise.

Akira Toriyama’s discreet family life

It is widely known that public appearances as well as interviews aren’t Akira Toriyama’s best suit. To come across an interview or an interaction itself is a rarity. However, with what we know, he has opened up about...

What happens when comics and pro wrestling collide
Image
Both comic books and pro wrestling have worked hard to overcome the stigma of being low-brow, "childish" form of entertainments, and both have managed to break through in recent years to enter popular culture's mainstream.

Seven of the top 25 highest-grossing movies are MCU movies, each of which grossed more than a billion dollars — also on that list in The Incredibles 2, which, although not based on a comic book itself, is a major throwback to the classic comics of the Silver Age.

Similarly, while pro wrestling hasn't quite return to the heights of the golden ages of the mid-80s and the turn of the millennium, the industry has been going through its biggest boom period in a long time, thanks in part to the three major wrestling promotions in the US — WWE, Aew and Total Nonstop Action — all signing newer and better broadcasting deals for their TV programs in recent years.

10 Best Wrestler Cameos In Movies, Ranked
Image
Fans love to equate WWE programming to that of "cinema" but cinema is an entirely different beast compared to professional wrestling. That isn't to discredit professional wrestling by any means. It's live theatre, at its core, and theatre is a distant cousin to filmmaking, but nonetheless, movies present a unique challenge for in-ring competitors.

Not everyone is cut out for acting or moviemaking, wrestlers included, but those who have been able to transition their in-ring charisma into movies have always been bound for success. It may not necessarily be for a marquee leading role, but it could be for a show-stealing cameo that leads to more. After all, The Rock's small role in The Mummy 2 led to starring in The Scorpion King. He went from having tremendous WWE matches to mega-blockbusters. Which other WWE Superstars have made some notable cameos?

After Starz tapped out with Heels following a two-season run, there's a chance that the series may continue on at Netflix. The show's streaming rights have been acquired by the streaming platform, and the move has renewed hope in the show getting a third season.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the nonexclusive rights to Heels have been licensed to Netflix, set to bring both seasons of the pro wrestling drama series to the streamer. Reportedly, Netflix is open to reviving the series by ordering a third season, but only if Heels draws high viewership on the platform. 10 Biggest WWE Crimes Cm Punk Totally Got Away
WWE.com

It’s been over two years since Phil ‘Cm Punk’ Brooks was part of World Wrestling Entertainment on screen. Even though he elected to leave in late-January, 2014, it wasn’t until June that Punk was officially served with his termination papers from the company. Rather coincidentally (or not), that document happened to plonk down on the man’s door mat on the day of his wedding to another ex-WWE talent, Aj Lee.

Naturally, the longest-running WWE Heavyweight Champion of his generation didn’t take too kindly to this fact. Punk has bashed WWE ever since, and had many gripes about his time with the company. Despite this, he had an aforementioned 434 day run as the promotion’s top champ, won ‘Money In The Bank’ twice, and wrestled everyone from Triple H and The Undertaker to John Cena and Daniel Bryan.

Cm Punk had a lot of success in WWE,...

10 Best Daniel Bryan And Aj Lee Moments
WWE.com

After announcing his long-speculated retirement via Twitter just a mere few hours before this week’s edition of Raw, fans around the world began to mourn and celebrate the career of one of the most gifted wrestlers to ever compete in the squared circle. With a career spanning sixteen years, Bryan Danielson has left a legacy that is worthy of a place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Recognised as a ‘Founding Father’ of Ring of Honor, Danielson joined at a time when it was rare for WWE to hire so-called ‘indie darlings’. Sami Zayn this week tweeted that ‘Without Daniel Bryan, many of the performers you love in Nxt and WWE would never have been hired. He broke down barriers for us all.’ Bryan’s popularity is no doubt one of the reasons why Vince McMahon and Triple H are more open to signing already established wrestlers from the indie scene.

Former WWE Diva In Nude Photoshoot
instagram / bodybuilding.com

Former WWE Diva Kaitlyn has posed nude for Bodybulding.com’s Body Of Work Volume 4 magazine. “And for everyone that’s always wanted to see me naked…” she posted on Instagram alongside a couple of nude shots from the shoot.

Rather than being a sexy shoot, the idea is to show off her muscles and body shape. Kaitlyn is a keen fitness fanatic, with a passion for the gym and healthy eating. Bodybuilding has been one of her main focus points since leaving WWE back in 2014.

At only 29 years of age, and with that kind of body, WWE would absolutely be interested in bringing her back. She’s actually got a better look for the business now than when she was competing. As for her wrestling skills, she always demonstrated a decent level of ability, but in such a short career she never really left any legacy.

8 Most Shocking WWE Diva Betrayals
WWE.com

Women’s wrestling is on the cusp of a long-overdue change in WWE, with female superstars given three-dimensional personalities and consistent motives (on Nxt, largely). However, there’s no hiding the fact that, over the years, women in WWE have often been portrayed as sneaky, manipulative, and downright evil.

As a general rule of thumb, if a good-natured babyface aligns himself with a diva, he’ll be betrayed before long. As uncomfortable as many of these storylines may be to look back upon, there’s no denying that women have been the cause of some very memorable heel angles throughout the company’s history.

From Sensational Sherri to Aj Lee, by way of Trish Stratus and Lita, WWE’s divas have been at the heart of trouble for decades. Some storylines have been good, others terrible, but they all have one thing in common: Vince McMahon’s most devious femme fatales.

10 WWE Superstars Who Will Leave In 2016
wwe.com

As a wrestling fan, devising one’s own crystal ball is part of the fun. Speculation is king, and trying to figure out what the landscape of World Wrestling Entertainment will look like in 12 months is something all wrestling fans will do at some point in time. I would wager that a large number have already started putting together their own WrestleMania cards, planned surprise returns and championship wins. Predicting the future is all part of being a fan.

WWE has an immense amount of talent at its disposal, and despite 23846 hours of weekly television time the company seems unable to find something meaningful for a large number of the wrestlers. Now, I’m not arguing that everyone should be in a major storyline, certainly not, but with over 60 men and 15 women there is absolutely no reason why the same matches should happen as frequently as they do.

'WrestleMania XXX' preview: Prepare for Sunday with a trip down the WWE Network rabbit hole
This Sunday is the biggest day on the calendar year for those of us who still prefer this Steve Austin over the one from The Six Million Dollar Man and who still get the urge to patriotically tear off our shirts whenever this terrible Rick Derringer song kicks in. It’s WrestleMania XXX (that’s XXX as in “30,” not in porn terms), and it’s airing live from New Orleans on Sunday night.

I’m particularly excited for this iteration of the show thanks to the development that has completely re-aligned the way I watch and think about the WWE’s theatrical grappling arts.

‘WWE WrestleMania XXX’ Preview
So, we’re almost there. The biggest professional wrestling show of the year is about to happen, WrestleMania XXX, and so, before it does happen, let’s take a look at the matches that are currently being planned for the New Orleans supershow on April 7th.

WWE confirmed a couple of weeks ago that there would be a two hour pre-show airing on YouTube, WWE.com and the WWE Network in various ways. The pre-show is set to include an star-panel that will discuss the upcoming matches and give their thoughts. We will also get some pre-show in-ring action to wet our appetite for the main card.

WWE WrestleMania 30: Updated Lineup After Raw
Wrestlemania XXX Teaser Wallpaper by i-am-71

Last night’s edition of Raw was the second last episode of WWE’s flagship show prior to WrestleMania 30 on April 6 in New Orleans. It was held in Brooklyn, New York in front of a boisterous crowd that reacted well to most of the action. There were times when they veered off in another direction with “Cm Punk” chants, but for the most part they cared about what they saw in the ring even without Daniel Bryan in action.

For weeks we’ve been updating you with the lineup for WrestleMania. Several matches were made official following Elimination Chamber while others have slowly taken shape based on recent actions from Raw and Smackdown. Here’s a look at the eight matches that are expected to be a part of the full WrestleMania card.

WWE Raw Results & Review (24.03.14)
We are less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 30 and so the television shows that WWE promotes between now and then are the most important “go-home” shows of the year for the company. The final “big sell” before the big show itself. Tonight, Raw is live from Brooklyn, New York.

In the next two episodes of Raw, including this one, we should know, without a doubt, the full card for WrestleMania, and have an idea of what the biggest show of the year has in store for us. Tonight, celebrities will be a part of Raw, as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joe Manganiello and Scooby Doo make appearences, as well as Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker promoted to appear. Should be an interesting show.

WWE WrestleMania 30: 8 Matches Expected To Take Place
WWE.com

With just two more weeks of WWE television to go before WrestleMania, it appears as though we may finally know the full lineup.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported about the eight matches that WWE has planned for the four hour show taking place on April 6th in New Orleans. Here’s a listing of the matches that have been made official as well as those that will be official in the coming weeks.

Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan – This will likely take place in the first hour because the winner of this match will wrestle in the main event match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton and Batista. This stipulation was added on Monday’s Raw when Triple H said he’s going for it all after he beats Daniel Bryan. It would be a shock if Bryan didn’t win this match.

It’s typical WWE booking to have champions lose non-title matches. In fact, it happened three times on Raw since Randy Orton and Aj Lee also lost. They do that as a way to build up contenders.

The manager of the Real Americans, Zeb Colter, tweeted about how Cesaro and Jack Swagger deserved a tag team title match at WrestleMania 30 after their win.

It’s interesting to note that on a recent edition of a German broadcast of Raw, Cesaro was announced for the Andre the Giant battle royal, but it appears though that decision has been changed since he hasn’t been pushed for it on television. If he was a part of it,...

‘TLC 2013′ DVD Review
The final pay per view of 2013, TLC (Tables, Ladders, Chairs) 2013, boasts, what was being promoted by WWE as one of the most important matches in the history of WWE and/or professional wrestling: the unification match between the WWE Champion Randy Orton and the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena; and the show begins with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon coming onto the stage and putting over the importance of the main event and the history of the belts that will be hanging over the ring in the TLC match. The first match of the PPV begins…

6 WWE Divas That Never Held The Title
WWE.com

Over the the years the WWE Women’s and Divas Championships have seemed more like doorknobs than title belts: everybody gets a turn. Despite decent reign lengths for Divas (like Aj Lee, Kaitlyn, and Beth Phoenix) and multiple time winners (like Trish Stratus, Mickie James and Lita), if you’re a female on the roster for an extended period of time you usually wind up with gold.

WWE’s interest in the women’s division has always been up and down. The WWE Women’s Championship was integral in the Rock n’ Wrestling Connection but the title was soon deactivated. It was brought back in the early nineties only to fizzle out again after just a few years. In the late nineties it came back strong and lasted almost exactly a dozen years to the day. The Divas Title was created in 2008 for two purposes, one: to let...

WWE: Why Brie Bella Should Take Stephanie McMahon Down At WrestleMania 30
The stage has been set, Daniel Bryan will officially be facing Triple H one-on-one at WrestleMania XXX. Allegedly, the original plan was for the King of Kings to wrestle against Cm Punk, but in the grand scheme of things, it makes perfect sense for the leader of the Yes! Movement to do battle against the man that has been holding him back and calling him a “B+ Player”.

With WrestleMania XXX just around the corner, the card is quickly taking shape. Unfortunately for fans of the WWE Divas, the reality is sinking in that they may wind up being tossed in another meaningless multi-Diva contest, such as a pointless Tag Team Match or another hot mess of a Battle Royal (the WWE Universe is still recovering from the Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal at WrestleMania Xxv). Or worse, like last year, they could be cut from the card entirely.

However, there...

WWE WrestleMania 30 – Multiple Divas Title Match Expected?
)

Last night on WWE Main Event on the WWE Network, the Divas Champion Aj Lee successfully defended her title against Natalya.

Prior to the match, there was speculation via PWInsider that Aj could lose the title as a way to punish her due to the actions of her boyfriend Cm Punk. Instead Aj came out on top thanks to Tamina’s interference in a very competitive match that went nearly 15 minutes.

Regarding a possible Divas Title match at WrestleMania, the speculation is that it would be a match involving several divas. The most likely contenders are stars from Total Divas such as Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Natalya, Naomi (if she’s healthy) and Cameron. It’s just a question of how many women they want to include in the match. It’s unlikely that they’re going to have a battle royal due to the other battle royal on the card,...

WWE WrestleMania 30: Latest Potential Matches Update
The WrestleMania 30 card is coming together slowly as WWE tries to put together the best show possible for the big event taking place on Sunday April 6th in New Orleans.

It seems as though three matches are considered locks at this point: Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker (made official on last Monday’s Raw), John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt (not official yet) and Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H seems like it is going to happen. What about Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? That could change.

According to Bryan Alvarez in the latest edition of the Figure Four Weekly Newsletter on F4WOnline.com, WWE has been considering several matches for WrestleMania 30. While nothing has Here’s a listing:

- Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. ?: We don’t know who the “?” would be at this point. Chances are good that it would be Daniel Bryan, who...

WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 7 Things WWE Did Right
The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is in the books. Going into it, the expectations were that if the two top matches delivered then the whole show would be considered a success.

It’s fair to say that the six man tag between The Shield and Wyatt Family was a match that met the lofty expectations fans had for it while the main event Elimination Chamber match was very good although all people will really remember was the ending.

There were plenty of other things that happened on the show too. People can focus on the negative things like the awful Aj Lee/Cameron match, the poorly written Wade Barrett segments and another tough to watch backstage comedy segment involving WWE toys.

Most of the show was good. Any time you give the main event 40 minutes and another match gets over 20 minutes the results are going to be satisfying for the most part.

Elimination Chamber, as you’re reading this, has been and gone and we are now well on our way down the road to WrestleMania XXX. The show itself was one of those WWE b-shows that ranged, at various times from poor, to mediocre, to good, to fantastic, so lets look at the actual results before talking about the show in more depth shall we?

Kick-off Show: The Rhodes Brothers beat Ryback & Curtis Axel Intercontinental Championship: Big E retained his title against Jack Swagger WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Age Outlaws beat The Uso’s Grudge Match: Titus defeated Darren Young WWE Divas Championship: Aj Lee kept her...

‘WWE Survivor Series 2013′ Blu-ray Review
Survivor Series began at the end of the 1980’s and was a themed show that saw the roster of WWE team together in elimination style tag team battles that saw the biggest stars of the day team together to form super-teams. As time went by the Survivor Series stopped being a show filled with elimination tag matches and today it features a few of them while also promoting regular matches for championships and such. 2013’s show only featured two traditional Survivor Series contests.

We are now in February of 2014 and the information since has told us that this Survivor Series event had the lowest PPV buy-rate since the show first began over two and a half decades ago. Still, it doesn’t mean that this show doesn’t have something worth watching, so here is the match listing and a look at the highlights.

WWE: 10 Worst Couples Ever
Copyright: WWE You Think You Know Me Blu-ray

Love is a many splendored thing. Love is what makes the world go round. All you need is love. You’ve heard all those sayings, well, I’m here to say they don’t apply in professional wrestling. In the squared circle, love is worse than a low blow from behind. The two just don’t mix well. For every magical couple like Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth, there’s 10 more that were just uncomfortable to watch. Some people just don’t belong together, and yet, WWE would try.

Most of the men and women that the company put together in an on-air relationship just didn’t have the chemistry or the acting skills necessary to make you believe they were truly in love. Besides the awkwardness of the couples closer resembling a school yard romance than an adult relationship, the writing...

John Cena Crushes Rival Randy Orton On ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’
The WWE Superstar promised an epic face-off with the current World Heavyweight Champion — and he did Not disappoint!

John Cena‘s feud with Randy Orton has never been more intense, and on the Feb. 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, their rivalry came to a head — or, rather, Randy’s head came to the mat. Cena promised that his match against Orton would shift “the future” of his time with the WWE and I think it’s safe to say he made good on that promise.

John Cena Vs. Randy Orton — Is Their Feud Squashed?

To be fair, Orton put up a heck of a fight before eventually succumbing to The Prototype’s barrage of Attitude Adjustments. And if audience support is at all a factor, Orton was pretty much doomed from the start, as the massive crowd was not in his favor last night.

WWE: 6 Divas That Could Really Use Character Direction
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalya_%28wrestler%29

Have you ever watched a divas match and thought that what you’re seeing in the ring could be a lot better? Of course you have. We all have.

The reality is that right now in WWE they don’t care too much about the divas division. In fact, they barely give any divas the chance to speak on a microphone other than Aj Lee. They try to push feuds simply because one woman is the champion and another won a non-title match or a tag match, but there’s rarely anything else in addition to that.

This is not about women that need to improve as in-ring performers necessarily. It’s more about the writing. None of these women mentioned have a lot of character depth right now and that’s what they need to try to make the division matter more.

WWE: Cm Punk Not Responding To Texts Or Calls
Copyright: Cm Punk: Best In The World Blu-ray

Cm Punk remains firmly on the outside of WWE, not responding to any calls or texts according to PWinsider.

WWE executives and several industry colleagues had tried to contact the Awol star ever since his shock walk out after Raw last week, but he the controversial star has kept pretty much to himself and his close family.

Where things move on from here is anyone’s guess. Clearly if WWE are making overtures to Punk then they clearly want him back despite what amounts to unprofessional conduct in the workplace. This issue could yet be resolved if only Cm Punk opens up lines of dialogue with his employer.

The fact that Punk isn’t even responding to his wrestler peers illustrates just how much he has gone to ground. He isn’t tweeting and for all we know hasn’t even...

WWE: Cm Punk’s 10 Most Infamous Incidents
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CMPunk.jpg

The Voice Of The Voiceless, The Second City Saint, The Best In The World or simply just Phil Brooks. Whatever name you know him by, you also know him as Cm Punk, one of the most outspoken, opinionated people in the history of professional wrestling (sorry Vince, I meant sports entertainment). Never afraid to speak his mind, Punk has made a career out of creating emotions in his audience, his colleagues and even his belligerent boss.

I grew up watching the Attitude Era and back then not everyone had access to excellent wrestling news articles, we had to just accept what we were seeing on Raw, SmackDown and Sunday Night Heat that week. Now, however, we have a vast number of online dirt sheets just begging to bring us news on all the latest backstage politics, incidents and controversies. At the heart of...

WWE Locker Room Reaction To Cm Punk Quitting
People backstage in the WWE are quoted as being “not unhappy” that Cm Punk is gone.

F4wonline is reporting that Punk had negativity on him from various people backstage. Mick Foley has confirmed this, speaking it’s his belief that Punk has people that don’t like him. The reason for this? Foley puts it down to Punk’s honesty, saying that it rubs a lot of people up the wrong away. Obviously as well, the walkout kind of looks as if Punk is saying his individual needs are more important than the team needs. A lot of people might be unhappy with creative, but they don’t just walk out half an hour before Raw.

Randy Orton is perhaps one of the people glad to see the back of Punk. The WWE Champion cut a promo at the Orlando live show this weekend, stating ”If at first you don’t succeed,...
