Shayne Lightner

Shayne most recently wrote, directed and produced "Get Bossy", a female, stoner detective comedy feature distributed by Cineverse and released on Amazon and Amazon Prime 4 20 20. Shayne previously co-wrote, directed and produced "What No One Tells The Bride", a half-hour comedy pilot about a strong, liberal woman's journey into marriage with a conservative Naval officer. Before that, Shayne directed, wrote and produced "Minding Swarthmore", the first ever documentary about the history and character of Swarthmore College, and "Salt And Light", a documentary about the Sixth World Conference of Friends in Kenya. Shayne also directed, wrote and produced "Iroquois Rising", which premiered at the Museum Of Tolerance International Film Festival, and the crime-comedy short "True Bromance". Is a freelance director for television, commercials and videos.

Prior to that, Shayne wrote and directed two short films, one of which ("Bullet Bound") was chosen as a second round selection for Bravo's "Project Greenlight". Shayne spent significant time as a Director-Observer on CBS's "The Unit", as well as Fox's "Lie To Me" and Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie". He also previously wrote and directed corporate/educational videos and wrote and developed several other television, film, documentary, web series, short and music video projects.

Shayne earned a BA from Swarthmore College.
