Marty Marrero

Grew up in the tough streets of the Bronx known as Fort Apache. Is of Puerto Rican descent and cousin to the late actor, Ralph Marrero who starred in Day of the Dead. Aside from acting, he owns and operates a licensed talent agency based in Florida, Thespis Rose Theater Talent Agency and occasionally casts independent films, mostly horror films. He has cast horror genre actors, Ed Neal, Linnea Quigley and Geretta Geretta in his films. Left recurring role on Guiding Light to pursue a social work degree. Had a licensed acting school in South Beach and closed it to open his licensed talent agency when he was told by casting directors to open his own talent agency since he had an eye for talent. Prior to venturing back into the biz, he was a teacher for over 7 years. Usually casts Linnea Quigley in his films. Is good friends with Linnea Quigley, Geretta Geretta, Camille Keaton and the late Vanity and David Hess.

Better to have a small bench of friends than to have a stadium of opportunists!
