Netflix is teeing off on a new season of Full Swing on Wednesday, March 6, with cameras following a group of professional golfers — some returning from Season 1, some new to the docuseries — on and off the course. Season 1 stars Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas are all coming back. And Keegan Bradley, Luke Donald, Wyndham Clark, Alex Fitzpatrick, Zach Johnson, Tom Kim, and Justin Rose are joining the action for Season 2. Tgl presented by SoFi, the made-for-primetime TV golf competition founded by PGA Tour legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy and former NBC Sports executive Mike McCarley, officially has a U.S. TV home.

ESPN has secured the media rights for Tgl, and will debut the league Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, the day after the College Football Playoff National Championship. The second match will run Tuesday Jan. 16, the night after ESPN’s Monday Night Football NFL Wild Card game, giving both matches a football-driven promotional boost.

There will be 15 regular season matches, plus semifinals and finals matches.

All the matches will run on ESPN or ESPN2, and will also be simulcast on ESPN+. ABC will also air a Tgl preview show Saturday, Dec. 30. Tmrw Sports and ESPN say that it is a “multi-year partnership.”

Augusta, April 9 (Ians) Brooks Koepka added one more birdie to his total to get to 13-under, even as his closest rival, Jon Rahm, slipped from 10-under to nine-under and the lead had swelled to four shots at the 87th Masters.

The play was suspended just as the lead trio approached the seventh green, which itself had a lot of water. That means the lead group, Koepka, Rahm and amateur Sam Bennett will need to play almost 30 holes on Sunday.

Augusta National officials announced that play will resume on Sunday at 8.30 am and the final round with players starting from first and tenth is expected to begin at 12.30 pm.

The move follows Foley appearing as himself in the Netflix docuseries Full Swing as he crosses over into entertainment and media. Full Swing, which debuted on Feb. 15, has just been renewed for a second season of following pro golfers up close as they face the highs and lows of winning and losing while competing at major championship tournaments like The Masters, PGA Championship, the U.S. Open and the Open Championship in the UK.

Full Swing is produced by Box to Box and Vox Media Studios, which also created Formula 1: Drive to Success, and follows top players on and off the golf course as they deal with rivalries that have sprung up as the Saudi-backed Liv pro tour challenges the dominance of the traditional PGA Tour.
