Umair Hasan is a Writer & Director based out of Hyderabad, India. He is the co-founder of Boxcar Caravan where he has also worked as an Editor. He was born in Kagaznagar, Telangana but grew up in Hyderabad. His previous works include, Qubool Hai? (2022), Maya Bazaar - For Sale (2023), The Mystery of Moksha Island (2024), Samosas & Bannerjee (2010), Shaji (2011) to name a few. His work is inspired by filmmakers such as Kiarostami, Akira Kurosawa, Coen Brothers, David Fincher, David Lynch, Guru Dutt, Bong Joon-Ho among many others.
