Kara Elverson is a two-time Emmy-nominated and Peabody-award winning documentary filmmaker. Most recently, she produced the THE BIBI FILES, an emmy-nominated exposé on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption and far-right alliances, featuring never-before-seen police interrogation footage. The film was shortlisted for both a BAFTA and an Academy Award this year. Previously, Kara earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for HBO's STAX: SOULSVILLE U.S.A., chronicling the history of the Memphis soul label. In 2020, she produced Alex Gibney's AGENTS OF CHAOS (HBO), a gripping four-hour series on Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, which was nominated for two Emmys. Her earlier work includes USA V CHAPO (2018), a five-part docu-series on drug kingpin El Chapo, and GET ME ROGER STONE (Netflix, 2017), a revealing portrait of the infamous GOP strategist behind Trump's rise. She also worked with Josephine Decker on COLLECTIVE: UNCONSCIOUS, an omnibus film where five of New York's most innovative directors adapted each other's dreams.
