Michael was the accident of the family, coming into the world as the youngest of three boys with a seventeen-year age gap. He taught himself how to play guitar when he was just 11 years old, learning to play by ear while listening to hair metal bands such as Cinderella, Winger, and Dokken. He didn't care about making friends, being good at school, or talking to girls. All he cared about was playing guitar, watching wrestling, horror movies, and playing video games... and sadly, now in his forties, these are still the only things he cares about in life. In 1994, Michael barely graduated from Woodlawn High School with all D's and F's. It's not that he was stupid, it is just that he simply didn't care and had no motivation or encouragement from his parental figures. He struggled to hold any type of job after high school, and still can't hold a job like a normal upstanding citizen to this day. His first band, a punk band called Cadet Louie, played at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair in October of 1993. And, of course, the band was horrible. In 1997 he finally joined up with a good band, called Eastern Bloc, who would later change their name to Encompass and Stalemate. In 2001 Michael would go on to play drums in the American black metal band Catholicon for ten years, performing on multiple albums and appearing in multiple heavy metal magazines. In 2010, Michael set foot on his first movie set as a background actor in Peter Berg's Battleship, and he has since worked tirelessly to write and direct his own films.
