Sonu Gowda, birth name Shruthi Ramakrishna, is an Indian film actress who has worked in the Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil film industries.

Gowda completed her schooling at Carmel High School in Padmanabhanagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. She went on to graduate college with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Surana College, Bangalore, Karnataka.

The actress made her debut with Inthi Ninna Preethiya (2008), a Kannada film, alongside actor Srinagar Kitty. The film was directed by Duniya Soorii and was a commercial success. Gowda's performance was well-received.

Gowda has also appeared in films like Paramesha Panwala (2008), Gulama (2009), Gultoo (2018), and I Love You (Nanne Preethse) (2019), in addition to several other Malayalam and Tamil films.

Gowda was nominated for various awards for her film Gultoo. She won the Best Actress Chandanavana Film Critics Award for her work in the film, I Love You.

Gowda has worked as a model and has appeared in several TV commercials. She is also a member of the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. The actress is also part of the WeMove Theatre, a Bangalore-based theatre company.

Gowda is active on Instagram and also has a YouTube channel. Her sister Neha Gowda is a television actress who has acted in Telegu dramas. Her father, Ramakrishna, is a make-up artist in the Kannada film industry.
