Juan has been actively working in both film and theater. He is known for his work in productions like Red, White & Royal Blue on Amazon, Disney's Encanto, What/If and Tales of the City on Netflix. He has also received accolades for his stage work, including a Lucille Lortel Award for his performance in Transfers and the Drama Desk's Sam Norkin Award for Off-Broadway excellence. In 2022, Juan led Matthew Lopez's Tony Award winning play The Inheritance at The Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
