The following contains major spoilers for The New Avengers#1, on sale June 11 from Marvel Comics.
Two of Marvel Comics' hottest heroes are leading the charge against Doctor Doom with a whole new kind of New Avengers.
The New Avengers #1 opens to find Bucky Barnes, better known as the Winter Soldier, catching up with one of his old friends at their gas station in the middle of the New Mexico desert. Unfortunately for said friend, Bucky knows they have been selling out their neighbors to Doctor Doom's regime. As such, the Winter Soldier has to make an example of the man by setting the gas station ablaze. Of course, that is nothing compared to what Natasha Romanova, better known as the Black Widow, has in store for the two of them, and her plans go far beyond a long-overdue romantic rendezvous.

Earlier this week, Marvel Comics shared a cover for One World Under Doom's second issue, teasing Doctor Doom's ultimate victory over the Fantastic Four.
The new Sorcerer Supreme has become the ruler of the entire Marvel Universe and this key moment in Ryan North and R.B. Silva's One World Under Doom event will be further expanded on in Fantastic Four #30 where North's acclaimed run on the title takes a drastic turn.
As the shocking covers below show, Doctor Doom may have done what Mister Fantastic has failed to do for so long. The future of Marvel’s First Family has never been more uncertain as one of its members, Ben Grimm/The Thing, is taken off the board for good.
In addition, One World Under Doom will impact Spencer Ackerman and Julius Ohta’s new run of Iron Man, starting in issue #6 where Tony Stark debuts a new...

Moondragon's immense power and unique origin story make her a key figure in Marvel's cosmic universe. Watch out for this character. The story "Heirarchy of Power" showcases Moondragon's telepathic abilities and her role in assisting the Silver Surfer against Terrax's challenge. Despite the challenges of integrating Moondragon into the MCU post-Thanos, her potential and story make her a valuable addition to Marvel's lineup.

Marvel just confirmed the MCU is a much poorer place without one key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Across three films, the Guardians established themselves as one of Marvels premiere teams. There are several members from the comics who have not made the leap to live action, and the story Hierarchy of Power, appearing in Giant Size Silver Surfer #1 makes the case for one in particular.

Marvel confirms that former heralds of Galactus like Silver Surfer and Terrax "travel beyond the speed of light." This makes them faster than Quicksilver, though they're not alone - Captain Marvel, Sentry and Solarus can claim the same. However, DC's Flash remains the fastest superhero, with the ultra-powerful Speed Force not existing in Marvel's reality, limiting what speed is possible.
While Marvel's Quicksilver may be known for his speed, a surprising challenger just left him in the dust by showcasing their top speed. A longtime Avengers member, Quicksilver has long been Marvel's answer to DC's Flash. However, despite his famous arrogance, it turns out that Pietro Maximoff is no match for one powerhouse's maximum speed.
In a preview of Giant-Size Silver Surfer #1, the comic begins with narration that most readers will assume comes from the titular hero himself, boasting, "Though I travel beyond the speed of light, my reputation inevitably precedes me.
