Valentina Chamorro Westergårdh

Valentina Chamorro Westergardh is a director, screenwriter and producer. She started the film collective and production company Tjockishjarta Film (2008 - 2016), where she worked as a producer, writer, director, editor, first assistant director, second assistant director and script supervisor. Since 2010, she freelances as a scriptwriter and film director. Valentina is engaged in the non-profit organization WIFT (Women in Film and Television) Sweden since 2016 and is co-president of the board with Helene Granqvist since March 2017. Valentina's short films have been shown at Swedish television and competed in several international film festivals such as Festival del Film Locarno, Gothenburg Film Festival, Outfest LA, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Tel Aviv Fest, Stockholm Film festival and Uppsala international short film festival, etc.
