Peacock is about to delve into one of the most horrifying cases in United States history - and the first full trailer for Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy is everything fans were expecting.

The full trailer for Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy was posted to the official Peacock YouTube channel on Aug. 26, giving viewers their first major look into what the series has to offer when it arrives. Rather than charting the infamous serial killer's crimes, however, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy largely focuses on the storied court case that followed in the wake of Gacy's arrest.

Four years ago, Peacock unveiled one of the best true crime docuseries in recent memory when the streamer dropped John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise. Instead of focusing on the titular killer (as so many projects often do), the six-episode miniseries largely allowed the victims and their loved ones to come forward and tell their story. Now, the platform is set to do it all over again, but this time with a dramatized retelling of the atrocious horrors committed by the man also known as Pogo the Clown.
