For 25 years he has worked in several genres of audiovisual productions between Brazil, Portugal, Spain and England (working as a AD, executive producer, screenwriter and director).
He was A.D of portuguese legendary director Manoel de Oliveira, respected Finish filmmaker Mika Kaurismaki and Brazilian cult director Edgard Navarro, among others.
Back in Brazil, in 2006 he founded DocDoma Filmes, in Salvador, with other partners
In the same 2006 released "Agostinho da Silva - Um Pensamento Vivo" (A Living Thought, co-prod Portugal-Brazil) - in 100 portuguese cities - his first documentary feature film as a screenwriter and director.
In 2010 Trampolim do Forte (Diving into the blue, co-prod Brazil-Germany), his first fiction feature film as a screenwriter and director, debuted at the Festival do Rio Premiére Brasil in Competition.
In 2020, "Francisco just wants to play ball" (a.k.a Chico Bola), a kids live-action TV series (13x26'), where he has worked as a co-executive producer, co-writer and co-director, will be released at Rio2C 2020.
