Devashree Shivadekar

Devashree is a screenwriter from Mumbai, who completed her MFA in Screenwriting from New York Film Academy. Devashree has written a Marathi feature titled Bucket List, starring Madhuri Dixit. She has also written Hollywood projects that have dealt with topics like sex trafficking in 725 and romantic tragedy in Blind Date. Her films have been selected at the Cannes Film Festival and American Film Market among other international film festivals. Devashree's past experiences include assisting on the production shows like The Office (USA). Her teleplays have been shortlisted by NBC Universal and her screenplay, Chakkar, has been selected at the Sundance Screenwriting Lab. She has written a ten-part web series for OML and was involved with DAR Motion Pictures on developing feature films and television shows. She is also writing for Messy, a comedy series for Netflix.
