Jacob Kemp
Jacob Kemp is an actor working in film, television, and the theater. A dual-citizen of the United States and Canada, Kemp was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts.

Kemp drew critical praise for his performance as Arpad Novack in "Parfumerie," opposite Richard Schiff, Deborah Ann Woll, and Eddie Kaye Thomas, under the direction of Mark Brokaw. The LA Times declared his performance as "marvelous," and The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Kemp "stole his every scene."

Kemp is set to appear in 20th Century Fox's "Why Him?" opposite Bryan Cranston, James Franco, Megan Mullally, and Keegan-Michael Key, directed by John Hamburg.

Kemp portrayed Davey in the original cast of the 1st National Tour of Disney's "Newsies" from 2014 - 2015. In a 2015 interview with The Boston Globe, Tony Award-nominated director Jeff Calhoun described Kemp as "one of the smartest actors that I have ever worked with." Kemp received a 2016 IRNE nomination for his performance.

His television credits include recurring roles on "Black-ish" and "Broad City."

Kemp graduated cum laude from Yale, where he was the recipient of the Louis S. Gimbel Jr. Scholarship, and was a Yale Trust of Boston Scholar. He is also an alumnus of Stagedoor Manor and trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City.
