Frances Owens

Frances Owens, a native of Virginia Beach, VA, is an Actor/Voiceover Artist with an amazingly distinctive voice. She studies the Meisner Technique and Voiceover from the incredibly talented and well-known Keith Flippen, of The Actors' Place, Inc.; she has also studied with the former owner Sylvia Harman.
Frances has shown her talent and skills on film and stage as well as behind the mic. She has received accolades regarding her performances as to how natural and believable she is on film, as well as her ability to capture the audience on stage. No matter the style of performance, her voice leaves her signature.
Her last feature film credit is Burning Sands showing on Netflix, was directed by Gerard McMurray who was the Associate Producer for Fruitvale Station. She has also worked on a number of short films that have been shown in various film festivals around the country; one of her favorites was a student film entitled Secrets For Strangers that was shown at the 2013 Hollywood Black Film Festival.
