Sher Gill

Sher Gill was born in Woodstock,ON to middle class parents of Indian descent. His father immigrated to Canada and after many years of hard work, successfully opened a transportation and logistics company; while his mother worked a factory job for numerous years before settling as a housewife. Knowing the value of hard work, Sher excelled in his studies and graduated with a marketing degree. After a short stint in a 9-5 job in the marketing industry, Sher decided to further pursue his passion for acting. At a young age, Sher often participated in small theatre productions throughout elementary and middle school, where he was always drawn to the versatility of character roles, one could undertake. Having the ability to not only play 'dress up' but also connect with your audience, only further strengthened his desire in the performing arts. In 2014, Sher was able to land his first role alongside Bollywood veteran Om Puri in the international film "Little Terrors", which was released in September 2014.

As of current, aside from actively pursuing his acting career , Sher enjoys spending his free time singing and playing the guitar.
