David Turner(XXVI)

David Turner is an Oscar-shortlisted and Emmy-nominated creative producer known for LAST FLIGHT HOME, COMING CLEAN, and the VICELAND documentary series, JUNGLETOWN. His award-winning films have played at festivals including, Sundance, Telluride, SXSW, and DOC NYC. His latest film, THE NEW AMERICANS: Gaming a Revolution, explores the intersection of finance, media and extremism to uncover the explosive and irreversible ramifications of our digital future. David began his career as the founder of Film Canopy, a production company dedicated to creating impactful, sustainability-focused content. At Film Canopy, he managed operations while also writing, directing, shooting, and editing a range of both narrative and documentary projects. His commitment to environmental storytelling took him to Panama in 2016, where he worked with Interloper Films on JUNGLETOWN. In 2018, he joined Interloper Films full-time, where as a producer he's been responsible for the development and production of various documentary feature and series projects.
