A native Washingtonian Thomas C. Bartley, Jr. has been intrigued by entertainment business since the tender age of six. Although the gene that created several talented musicians in his family skipped him, Thomas was bitten with a passion for acting while playing the "Tin Man" in an elementary school production of The Wiz. Thomas then followed up that performance with his leading role in Aladdin. Though to most it was already obvious that Thomas had not only a true talent but a passion for the arts and performance Mr. Bartley took quite a bit of time to actually realize exactly what he really felt passionate about doing. After graduating high school, briefly attending college, and numerous various career paths Thomas finally acknowledged his undying passion and interest in Acting & Entertainment.

In December 2008 despite his own doubts and those of family and many others, Thomas made himself a New Years resolution that he would redirect his career path and set out to pursue his true passion of Acting. Within months, Thomas C Bartley Jr. was printed on a playbill for a local play he had auditioned, been cast as an understudy, and ultimately been moved to the principle character by the time of the performance. Little did he know, this was only the beginning of an eventful and unpredictable career he would love! After the success of this production Thomas continued to audition for other productions locally and along the entire east coast. Thomas' relentlessness, determination, and genuine dedication to his craft led him into principal roles into over 7 stage plays, two short films, two full-length features, and 1 television documentary series. All in less than a two-year span.

It was now January 2011 and Thomas had decided that it would be in the best interest of his career to make the next daring career jump into acting full-time. At this time Thomas' "no risk no reward" attitude was in full effect. Within a year Thomas signed with his first talent agency and was auditioning throughout the US. Fast-forward to today Thomas is widely recognized as one of the most engaging new talents in the film and television. Not only has he secured his eligibility within the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) through performances on film and television but also successfully formed and maintained professional and personal relationships with prominent new and veteran industry talent such as writers, actors, producers, network executives, and directors. Thomas has been seen on networks such as BET, Lifetime, BounceTV, and UpTV to name a few. Thomas Jr's most recent film releases include a supporting role in the Netflix drama Frat Brothers and a co-starring role as "Moses Hopkins" in the film The North Star, which was distributed worldwide in 2016. Thomas' next career goals include adding the title of Executive Producer to his list of credits with the focus on independent films that will translate into box office hits.
