Biography

    • Rosa Salomé Bursztein (born 9 May 1989) is a French actress, comedian, writer and filmmaker who has performed in film, television and theatre. She graduated from the University La Sorbonne Nouvelle and continued her classical acting training at L'Ecole du Studio d'Asnières and La Classe Libre du Cours Florent in Paris.

In 2009, Rosa Bursztein co-founded the company "Les Coeurs Insolents" with fellow actor Johann Cuny. They co-directed a play "La Ravissante Ronde" by Werner Schwab for l'Amphithéâtre de Censier-Paris III.

In 2012, she played Cécile de Volanges in "Dangerous Affairs", written by Christopher Hampton and directed by John Malkovich at Le Théâtre de l'Atelier.

She acted in Peter Stein's "Prix Martin", a witty Labiche play from the early twenties. Her stage partners were, among others, Jacques Weber and Laurent Stocker (from La Comédie Française). The play ran from March to May 2013 at Le Théâtre de l'Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe.

In the same year, she joined the company "Les Soirées Plaisantes" and began performing in a comedy show based on improvisations, "La Vie Rêvée des Profs" (Théâtre Le Bout, Théâtre La Boussole).

In 2014, she performed in a production at the Cartoucherie for Le Festival d'Automne à Paris, directed by Georges Lavaudant : "Archipel Marie Ndiaye, Paroles d'Acteurs - Talents Cannes Adami".
