Mingus Dagelet

Mingus Dagelet (Amsterdam, 1991) is a Dutch actor and musician.
He graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts in 2016.
After his graduation he worked with a number of well-known Dutch film directors including award- winning Ben Sombogaart, Rudolf van den Berg and Mark de Cloe. He played leading roles in several Dutch feature films like Razend, A Real Vermeer and To Be King and appeared in several TV shows.
Mingus also works with prominent Dutch theatre companies such as NT Jong, Nationale Toneel and the renowned Dutch theatre company International Theater Amsterdam (ITA), working with artistic director Ivo van Hove on The Hidden Force.
Dagelet is an advanced drummer as well as an advanced piano player. He performed with several bands and he performed at The Hague Jazz festival. Where and whenever he sees the opportunity to combine acting with music and dancing (6 years of Capoeira), he takes it.
