Selin Akkulak

Selin Evani Akkulak began her acting career at the age of 12 with a permanent role in the children's series Vrijland. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of Dutch TV shows, including Mocro Maffia, Oogappels, and Een Grote Familie. She also played in the international crime drama Van der Valk, and recently starred in FBI: International.
In 2020, Selin played the leading role in ECHO, part of the acclaimed NPO series Onze Straat. In 2022, while graduating from the University of the Arts in Amsterdam, she starred as one of the leads in the female-led revenge thriller SiHAME.
Selin has also made her mark in the theatre world. With theatre company Oostpool, she took on powerful lead roles in Laura H. - a true story about a young woman who fled from the caliphate - and the Dutch adaptation of The Almighty Sometimes by Kendall Feaver. Both performances were met with critical acclaim and toured across the country.
