Lindsay Brooke Davis was born in Queens, New York. Her mother, Dale Davis, was an elementary school guidance counselor and father, Martin Davis, a salesman. Lindsay grew up on Long Island a high honor roll student while studying jazz, tap and ballet, gymnastics, and violin in the Suzuki program. She also thrived in sports and went on to earn All-State and an All-American nomination in Soccer.

Lindsay was pre-med and on the Varsity Soccer team at Cornell University when she found herself feeling drawn back to the performing arts & literature. She joined "Anything Goes," Cornell's original and only song & dance troupe (founded in 1993), where performing solo selections from a few of her favorite musicals, among them: Chicago, Rent, Chess and more. She switched majors, earning a B.A. in English from Cornell and soon after graduating, began auditioning for shows in New York while also working in publishing at New York Magazine.

Lindsay dove into training with some of New York's most elite acting coaches and performed in short plays, open mics, poetry slams, and an abundance of student films at NYU, NYFA and The New School. Her first TV role in 2008 was a guest star on the IFC series "Z Rock." She joined the theater company Ticket 2 Eternity and began writing, producing, directing, and starring in her own plays. Lindsay went on to perform in over 25 works of New York theatre, from eclectic musicals and comedies to serious dramas. She also drew on her years studying in Cornell's prestigious English department and became a leading theater critic for Passport Magazine's Broadway Blog, reviewing Broadway, Off-Broadway, festivals, and cabaret performances as well as conducting interviews with British pop culture stars from Peter Frampton to Ben Howard for BBC America.

By 2011, Lindsay started booking several leads in film and TV, including ID's true crime series "I Am Homicide" and "Six Degrees of Murder." Her plays and acting were awarded audience awards in such festivals as the Midtown International Theater Festival, Theater for the New City's LES Arts Festival, Strawberry Festival of One-Acts, to name a few.

In April 2019, Lindsay decided to take her talents across the country to LA and pursue a career on camera Hollywood. Since moving west, she has already booked a lead as a drug & alcohol counselor in the Vimeo Staff Pick short film and festival favorite, "Intake." She performed opposite Sam Anderson in the short film "The Lift" and is featured in "Bride of the Dead" as a nurse, SmartyPants Vitamins commercial as a drummer, and hip hop artist Yung Gravy's music video "Wussup" as Hot Mom Next Door with over 3.5 million views.

Lindsay also returned to her music passion again via writing/recording/releasing original electronic and pop music on all streaming platforms with close to 100,000 streams.

When not acting or making music, Lindsay inspires adults to find health and happiness at the gym. She teaches fitness classes at Equinox (going on 13 years), models for athleisure/yoga apparel, and is an on-camera cycling trainer for BOWFLEX fitness.

Lindsay is attached to "Poe," a series in development by Luminetik Studios. She is managed by Volition Entertainment on both coasts.
