"Zombie" also won Best Screenplay Award and Best Supporting Actor awards from the 2011 Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia. "Zombie" also won Best First Time Director award at the 2012 California Film Awards. The film was nominated for Best Actor and Best Short Dramatic Film at the 2011 Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia.

- The film composer Deirdre Broderick wrote the film scores for four films by Bill Connington: Love, Repeat, Poughkeepsie is for Lovers, Zombie, and The Thornhills of Park Avenue.
