Vivek Malik is an Indian screenwriter, actor, and lyricist known for his emotionally grounded and sharp storytelling across digital, television, and music platforms.
Vivek began his career as an actor, playing lead roles in several short films such as Romeo, K'i'smet, and The Beginning in 2009. He also appeared in the feature film Lamhaa: The Untold Story of Kashmir (2010). His natural flair for writing gradually emerged alongside his acting journey, leading him to contribute both in front of and behind the camera. In 2013, he wrote the dialogues for the short film The Gift, further establishing his talent as a screenwriter.
Over time, Vivek transitioned more deeply into writing, earning recognition for his work across various formats. He is the writer of the action-thriller web series Commander Karan Saxena on JioCinema and served as associate dialogue writer on the critically acclaimed Undekhi Season 3 on Sony LIV.
His television credits include writing dialogues for the popular show Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana, as well as lyrics for the musical series Jam Together.
Vivek is also the co-founder of Tantra Music, a fast-growing music label in the Indian music industry. As a lyricist, he has written more than fifty songs-many of which have become chart busters.
