Biography

Alain Mesa is an American actor. He was born and raised in Miami, FL and is of Cuban descent. He began acting at the age of 10 and attended New World School of the Arts. After earning a B.A. in Theater at Florida International University, Mesa moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2010. He continued his acting training by studying with prestigious acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck in her Hollywood studio. Mesa appeared in a few TV shows such as Rosewood (2015) and Hôpital central (1963). He began voice acting in 2013 and has worked on several video games, including Tom Clancy's The Division (2016), Red Dead Redemption II (2018) and Forza Horizon 5 (2021). In 2022, he appeared as Col. Alejandro Vargas in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022), a role that was both full performance capture and voice over. The character quickly became a fan favorite, and his work on the game earned him a BAFTA nomination for Best Performance in a Leading Role at the 19th Annual BAFTA Games Awards.
