Before moving to Los Angeles, Cal in Dec. 2009, he was earning over $50,000 a year as a Bill Collector.

Has worked as a construction worker, waiter and bartender, door to door salesman, telemarketer, bill collector, and other odd and end jobs.

Attends "Valley West Actors". Taught by Sara Moore, who is Evan Rachel Wood's mother.

Moved to Los Angeles, Ca in December 2009 with friend Troy Kelly. While on their way home from a concert, they decided to go home, pack up and leave that night for California from Jacksonville, Florida.

In his teen years he pursued a career as a singer in punk bands and rock bands.

Since moving out on his own at 15, Shain has traveled and lived in Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colorado and California.

Is very close to his mother Deborah Gillette and considers her the reason for pursuing his dream as an actor.

His short film "Cabella" in 2010 was nominated for several awards and won best special FX award.
