For those continuing to feel a hole in their heart since the landmark animated fantasy series Avatar: The Last Airbender concluded in 2008, Netflix's long-running series The Dragon Prince is the perfect substitute. Debuting its seventh season on December 19, 2024, the parallels between the two popular animated TV shows extend beyond the story to include crossover cast members like Jack De Sena.
Furthermore, The Dragon Prince overtly references Avatar: The Last Airbender with a playfully amusing self-awareness that pays homage to Ang and his lovable sidekicks. The final season of The Dragon Prince will pick up in the aftermath of Season 6, and the stakes have never been higher. The penultimate season ushered in major changes. In the beginning, Aaravos’s (Erik Dellums) prison has been recovered, Viren (Jason Simpson) is done with dark magic, the Sunfire Elves are on the brink of war, and the dragon queen, Zubeia (Nicole Oliver), is injured and missing, giving the story plenty to cover. Still, the season leaves Callum (Jack De Sena), Rayla (Paula Burrows), Ezran (Sasha Rojen), and the rest in even more danger.

Loyal followers of Netflix's The Dragon Prince were in for a delightful shock as the entertainment giant unanticipatedly unveiled the latest season earlier than its scheduled date. As announced during the bustling San Diego Comic-Con panel, the much-anticipated Season 5 dropped on July 22, a notable five days ahead of its initial release date set for July 27.
The Dragon Prince journeyed onto our screens back in 2018, captivating audiences with its spellbinding narrative centered on two royal siblings, Princes Ezran and Callum, voiced by Sasha Rojen and Jack De Sena respectively. The plot thickens when an elven infiltrator named Rayla (voiced by Paula Burrows) trespasses into the royal corridors. Yet, rather than foreshadowing conflict, her presence spurs an unforeseen camaraderie with the young princes. Bound together by a shared mission to safeguard a dragon prince's fragile egg, they embark on a quest to bridge peace between the enchanting realm of Xadia and the world of humankind.

After a climactic ending to Season 3, The Dragon Prince rebranded for the next chapter. Adding The Mysteries of Aaravos to the title, the series refocused the story on a new threat. After the characters made peace with Xadia by returning the young dragon Zym to his mother and their biggest adversary Viren (Jason Simpson) took a life-ending fall, the story was seemingly over, yet Season 4 began again with a new mission for Ezran (Sasha Rojen), Callum (Jack DeSena), Rayla (Paula Burrows), Soren (Jesse Inocalla), and Zym. An ancient evil is awakening, and they must find it before their adversaries.

Online dating is a nerve-wracking premise at its core, but if you know the health dangers posed by sexual contact, the experience can become even scarier. That's the idea behind the web series The Dangers of Online Dating, a comedy from creator Brianne Nord-Stewart about a nurse who must overcome her fears (and her medical knowledge) in order to snag herself a man.
The woman at the center of The Dangers of Online Dating is Paula (Paula Burrows), whose buttoned-up attitude and preference for celibacy is informed by the sex-induced maladies she sees every day in her work at a Vancouver clinic. With a little help from her friends, she sets up an online dating profile and launches herself into a series of clumsy encounters. Those situations are made even more awkward by Paula's reserved attitude around the opposite sex -- and her penchant for daydreams.
