10 Shonen Anime Romances Where The Guy Falls First
Image
There is no shortage of romance anime dynamics in any genre. However, shonen romances have often shown relationships getting their start when the male protagonist has feelings first. While it doesn’t always happen this way, many male main characters begin their crushes before the female leads. This has remained a popular trope that continues to have its fans to this day.

The best shonen romances where the guy falls first typically feature underdog main characters who see their love interests as too out of their league. The male protagonists are shy initially but grow to have more confidence in the end. This trope is fairly prevalent in romance anime, but these shonen stories are among the best.

The 15 Most Overpowered Isekai Anime Protagonists, Ranked
Image
Isekai is one of the most in-demand and heavily populated anime genres of all time. The genre has given everything to the audience, from turning its protagonists into literal vending machines to reincarnating them as a sword or a spider. No matter how wacky the premise may be, isekai anime somehow manages to become the highlight of every season. Besides turning characters into unconventional beings and objects, one of the most popular trends in the genre is the existence of an overpowered main character.

Protagonists with almost non-existent lives and goals in their real world often get transported or reincarnated into a fantasy world where they are the strongest, which is an obvious yet very much loved isekai cliché. MCs who are incredibly strong either change the fate of that said world or become so bored with their superiority that they decide to descend into a quiet life. From being...

10 Best Monster Hunting Anime of All Time, Ranked
Image
Plenty of action anime focus on people fighting other people, while other series crank up the action with monster hunting instead. This may not be an official genre of anime, but there are enough "monster hunter" anime out there to make this a distinct subgenre, one that fans love in any decade. Such anime series usually feature a cast of well-trained slayers who use special powers or equipment to hunt certain creatures, usually to protect humanity.

These monster hunter anime aren't just about exterminating demons or beasts, however. Part of the appeal is the worldbuilding of how those monsters appeared and why they attack people, and the line blurs if the monsters in question are people as well as creatures. On top of that, some monster hunter series mix things up with person vs person battles, such as the heroes fighting the intelligent creator/boss of those monsters. As a bonus,...

In 2020, the anime was followed by a film adaptation, Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown, which, while not as remarkable as the first season, had its fair share of thrilling moments. That being said, the anime's second season is right around the corner, and here's everything we know about Goblin Slayer season 2, including the plot, cast, trailer, and more.
