Vonná Woodard Lozada has enjoyed working alongside industry greats such
as Clifton Powell, Buddy Lewis, Latoya Luckett, Rockmond Dunbar, Ruben
Studdard and Golden Brooks. She enjoys coaching and instructing other
artist in the industry as well. Some of her students are Augustus Cho,
G. I. Joe Retaliation, George McPherson, House of Payne, and Addy
Miller, The Secret Life of Bees.
Born, Artris LaVonná Woodard, she is a licensed and ordained Minister that obtained her Bachelor of Theology in 1999 from the Apex School of Theology. Having maintained a professional career in Evangelism, Corporate America and Academia, Vonná finally returned to acting in 2009. She can be seen in BET's The Perfect Gift and GMC's For Richer or Poorer, where she easily slid into the role of wife and mother in both productions.
