Javier E. Gómez is an actor, producer and award-winning journalist, based in New York. A graduate of the two-year Meisner program with William Esper, he is known for appearing in CBS' "Bull," the International Show episode of Netflix's "Big Mouth, "Psicosis" (a Sunday prime-time series by Telemundo Puerto Rico), various short films, and the horror feature film "Don't Look" (2018). On stage, he appeared Off Broadway in "No Dogs Allowed", a musical version of Sonia Manzano's children's book, at the Atlantic Theater Company. He was a co-producer of the Broadway revival of "Godspell" in 2011. Javier holds a noted career as a journalist, host of "Dialogo Abierto," the Spanish-language public affairs program on BronxNet Community Television. His journalism work has also appeared in "El Diario/La Prensa" (the oldest Spanish daily newspaper in the USA), "El Nuevo Día" (Puerto Rico's main daily newspaper), "Dollars & Sense" Magazine, Harlem Community Radio and Cablevision's "News 12 The Bronx." He served as Press Officer for New York State Governor George E. Pataki, New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, and Bronx County Executives Fernando Ferrer and Adolfo Carrión. He is a 4-time winner of the National Hispanic Publications Print Award for News Reporting, the Comité Noviembre Award for Excellence in Community Service, and El Diario's "El Award", granted to the most influential Latino men in New York City, among other awards. In 2018, he was honored by the New York City Council. In 2024, "City & State" named him among the most influential Communications professionals in New York.
