Kahlil Silver is an American film director and writer. He was born in
Los Angeles County California. He was raised in southern and northern
California. He began making small independent films in 2002. He is one
of three brothers that form the film producing team the "Silver
Brothers". He is also one of the founding members of the film
production company Serius Films(2011).
As a director he has been drawn to the Pacific Northwest and shot his last two films on location in Seattle Washington. Kahlil is committed to directing films which tackle real-life matters, often focusing on the human condition. His films tend to favor the "art of story telling" over the showiness of movies. As far as new directors go, his style of story telling is a welcomed and much needed addition to the world of Cinema.
